Guides Baby Pokémon
Baby Pokémon are special since they are considered both basic and baby
Pokémon. They aren't as strong as normal Pokémon though; after all,
they are
babies! Breeding a baby Pokémon involves several items and special
methods.
Evolving a baby is no mean feat, because many of them
also require a certain happiness, a hidden value that takes a while to raise. Once most
baby Pokémon reach that value, they evolve. For more information
about happiness, please click here
for a guide!

As a reminder, many baby Pokémon cannot be found in older games, even
though their evolutions can be. This is because certain baby Pokémon come
from parents holding specific items (like Incenses) that can only be found
in newer games. This is especially true for older generations like Pokémon
GSC!
